American Legion Temporary Financial Assistance

Since its establishment in 1925, The American Legion Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) program has awarded cash grants to minor children of current active duty or American Legion members. These grants help families in need meet the cost of shelter, food, utilities and health expenses, thereby keeping the child or children in a more stable environment.

American Legion National Emergency Fund

Since the early 1920s, The American Legion has been actively involved in meeting the needs of both the community and individual Legion Family members in the wake of disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and wildfires.

The Wounded Veterans Relief Fund offers assistance to disabled veterans, throughout the entire state of Florida.

DAV COVID-19 Unemployment relief

In response to this unprecedented event, we are establishing a COVID-19 Relief Fund to provide help to service-connected disabled veterans who have lost employment.

Feeding Florida

Through collaboration and innovation, Feeding Florida member food banks are expanding the possibilities for solving hunger. Access to healthy nutritious food is fundamental and is the foundation from which the success of all other issues is determined.
